    Hammersley Inlet to Olympia and Grapeview

    This unfortunate skipper apparently thought the water was a bit deeper over Olympia Shoal than it really was. He ran hard aground and had to wait for the tide to float him off.     Who am I? The easier answer is what: husband, father, technologist, geologist, consultant, conservationist, sailor.

    I see patterns and connectedness every day, and irony and humor brighten my days.

    I value different ideas, different ways of presenting ideas, and differences in general, because it is those differences that create the spice and energy that help us move forward.
